This was just a momentary shot out the bus window. At the time I didn’t think too much off it. I just wanted to capture everything I could during the trip. It still isn’t the most amazing shot but looking back at it now, I love the reflection of the clouds in the water. There is something about this photo that makes me feel clam and serene.

What does being alone mean to me?
“Let me just take a moment…”
One year gone, another just arrived.
Welcome to 2017.
It couldn’t have come sooner. We call all agree on that.
Like the title of this blog post implies, I’m back. To blogging (just wanted to make that clear.) In recent conversation with a friend, we talked about how much has changed in our lives so quickly and what those change meant for us. As the conversation evolved she mentioned how she missed writing – for her self and for her blog. Which then got me thinking about my blog and so…VOILA! HERE I AM.
I was bored and browsing through my itunes when I remembered how my cousin and I used to put my ipod on shuffle and take the song that played and apply it to our lives. So I thought it would be fun to have a go at doing that again. Only this time I went to google for help and found this idea…
So this happened…
I received a message from Madhurima (Nostalgic Lemon). She is interested in stuff like storytelling, cinema, television shows, music, reading, writing, stand-up comedy, and reminiscing. She says that I’m her inspiration but she is totally one of mine! Thanks Madster, I feel honoured.
Girls… Women. Those who identify with the female persuasion.
In honour of International Women’s Day, this post is dedicated to all the fabulous women in my life. To those I haven’t had the pleasure to me yet. And to myself, as I learn to become more comfortable in my own skin.
I have had the good fortune of having some amazing women in my life and although we celebrate mother’s day, valentine’s day, and birthdays, we don’t often get the chance to celebrate women in general. I mean, why shouldn’t we? Us, womenfolk, we’re pretty damn great. I’m so not ashamed to say that I am a feminist. So I guess this post was a long time coming.
